Endurance Event Participation Survey: Consent & Privacy Notice

Welcome to our Endurance Event Participation Survey. Our goal is to gather insights on where individuals train and compete in endurance events, with a special focus on the Central Wisconsin area. This initiative is part of a broader study to understand local participation rates and compare them with national averages.

Purpose of Data Collection:

The information you provide will be used exclusively for analytical purposes. It will help us calculate the percentage of the population in Central Wisconsin engaging in endurance events and how this compares to national participation rates. This data will contribute to a comprehensive report available on our website and will also inform a documentary on the subject.

What We Collect:

The survey asks about your training locations, event participation, and preferences. We respect your privacy and want to assure you that:

  • Confidentiality: Your responses will be kept confidential. Any data published will be in aggregate form only, ensuring individual participants cannot be identified.

  • No Selling of Personal Information: Your name, email address, or any personal identifying information will not be sold, traded, or used for purposes outside of this study.

  • Use of Contact Information: The only exception to the above is the use of your email address to send you notifications regarding:

    • When the aggregated data and insights are posted on our website for public review.

    • Updates about the release and viewing details of the documentary for which this data is collected.

Consent to Participate:

By proceeding with this survey, you acknowledge and consent to the collection and use of your data as described above. Participation is voluntary, and you have the option to withdraw at any time.

Privacy and Data Security:

We are committed to protecting your privacy and securing your data. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the data collected is protected against unauthorized or illegal processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage.

Thank you for contributing to our study. Your input is invaluable in shedding light on the endurance event participation in Central Wisconsin and beyond.

For any questions or concerns about this consent notice or how your data will be used, please contact us.
